Madeline G. Smith joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2022. Her practice areas include criminal defense, domestic relations, civil litigation, real estate transactions, business and corporate law, estate planning, and probate. Madeline's favorite part of practice is interacting with clients and being able to make a small difference in their day-to-day lives. 

Madeline received her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2022. In law school she studied a diverse variety of legal areas and she completed a program of concentrated study in real estate law. Madeline was also actively involved in the leadership of Greater Nebraska Connections, an organization devoted to promoting the practice of law in rural Nebraska communities. Prior to joining the firm, she gained valuable practical experience by clerking for law firms in Omaha, Kearney, and Holdrege. Madeline received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2018. 

Madeline is a Nebraska native, and she and her husband are excited to become involved members of the Broken Bow community. Outside of the office, she enjoys riding her horse, home renovation projects, and spending time with friends and family.
