Jim joined the firm in 1992. For over 25 years, he has represented clients in civil and criminal cases in Central Nebraska. His primary focus is representing people who have been injured in automobile accidents. Over the years, Jim has gained experience dealing with clients who have suffered significant, and often life-altering injuries, and in particular, traumatic brain injuries.
Jim is very involved in the Broken Bow community. In 2017, he and his wife, Cindy, were two of the Co-Chairs of the Cattlemens Ball of Nebraska, which raised over a million dollars for cancer research. He has been heavily involved in the Nebraska One Box Pheasant Hunt, and in the past, has served terms as Chairman of the One Box Pheasant Hunt, One Box Habitat Association and the One Box Past Shooter boards. He previously served on the local Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited Boards, Broken Bow High School Athletic Booster board and has served on number boards and committees in his church. He has also served multiple appointed terms on the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment for the City of Broken Bow and currently serves as the attorney for the Village of Merna. He is a founding member of the Nebraska Youth Shooting Sports Foundation and was a member of the inaugural class of Leadership Custer County.
